Babysitting is a great way to earn a little more spending money. Especially when you are too young to get an actual job. Like me. Personally, in my neighborhood there are more that 15 girls ages 11-16 that are MORE than happy to accept a babysitting job anytime. One of the biggest things to remember when babysitting, is to actually play with the kids. No mom wants to come home to the babysitter on the phone, and her kid making a mess everywhere. Or, to hear that all they did was watch TV shows all day long. As long as you follow that one big rule, your sure to become one of the best babysitters in the neighborhood.
Here’s a template, that will make you stand out a little more. Fill this out, leave it on the table, and watch as you get more babysitting offers!

Hey Guys! I hope you guys all had a wonderful weekend. Can you believe summer is almost here!? I’m so excited! I can’t wait for the warm months and the countless hours of swimming. I think we can all agree when I say that, Summer is the time to relax and take time to yourself.
A great way to kick back, and relax this summer, is to pamper yourself with a spa day. There’s nothing better than, taking a warm bath. Even better yet, a bubbly bath. Lately, the store “Lush” has been taking over the world of bath bombs. Among their products, they have face scrubs, bath bombs, bath jellies, soap bars, bubble bars, and more. A very popular product they sell, is called “FUN”. It’s pretty much a version of Play-Doh, but so much better. It contains soap, so its like a chunk of dough, that bubbles up when you add water. This fabulous product, channels the inner childhood memories from everyone. From ages 3 to 50, this is always a joy to create!
But here’s the downside. It’s friggin’ expensive. Each individual bar is about $6-$10 dollars. And since it IS soap, it eventually melts after the water attacks it. So, pretty much $7 will get you a few baths before it dries out or runs out.
Now the fun part. YOU CAN MAKE THIS! For a $3 or less! All it takes are 2/3 ingredients and almost all of them can be found in your home. The awesome part about this DIY, is that you can make as much as you want. Here are the simple steps to making your own “FUN!”
Ingredients You Will Need:
*Corn Starch- This is the ingredient that will give the dough-like consistency.
*Body Wash/Gels- This DIY is the perfect way to use those Bath & Body Works Body Washes you never got around to. Or, a great use for those travel size shower gels from hotels that for some odd reason, you have kept all these years. (No? Just Me? Ok…) I used the Bath & Body Works gel, because the scent was amazing! I suggest using a scented or fragrance filled wash, because it is totally worth the end product.
Food Coloring- The completely optional ingredient. This will NOT stain your body or bathtub. It gives a bright vibe to your bath and soap!
Now that we’ve gathered our ingredients, Let’s get started!
- Mix, Mix, Mix.
There are no exact measurements to this recipe. No two batches are a like. Start, by adding equal measurements of both Corn Starch and Shower Gel. Then from there, mix with a spoon or with your hands until you have reached your desired consistency. No expert skills are needed, just know if its too dry, add more gel. If it’s too soggy, add more corn starch. Gradual measurements are the key words here ladies and lads.
2. Knead In Food Coloring (If Desired)
Slowly, add one drop at a time to your dough. Take out of your mixing bowl, and knead with your hands. I chose a red food coloring, and added about 5 drops total to get a pink color. I highly, highly recommend adding one drop at a time, Too many drops at once, can cause a big huge mess.
And that’s it. Boom. Instant Lush Fun. For a penny of it’s price. Have Fun with Your “FUN” ! Make sure, to store in saran wrap. You don’t want it drying out!

Hello! Recently, I purchased a few NYX liquid suede liquid lipsticks, so I decided to help you all out with a bit of a review and some swatches! These colors truly are, beautiful and lovely on the lips. They glide on smooth with no patches. My favorite colors have to be Soft-Spoken (04) and Pink Lust (08). Soft-Spoken is a beautiful natural chestnut like color. It’s great for a natural makeup day! The color Pink Lust I feel is great for Spring with its Radiant Blushed color. A must have for the upcoming season. Here are a few swatches, to help all you ladies deciding on what colors will fit you the best!
From Left to Right-
Lavender Shade – SWAY (06)
Vibrant Red Shade – KITTEN HEELS (11)
Radiant Blush Shade – PINK LUST (08)
Natural Chestnut Shade – SOFT-SPOKEN (04)
Vampy Maroon Shade – VINTAGE (12)
Overall, I’m really happy with this product. They are a go-to for a matte liquid lipstick. Not to mention- if you let them dry for long enough, they are very long-lasting! I rate them 9/10. I decided to not rate them 10/10 because they are a bit of a pain to scrub off, but at the end of the day they are worth it!
